Thanksgiving

We are thankful that, as a Church family, we have been able to return to  normality in Worship and Church activities. Also for the dedication and commitment of our Pastor Julie, the leadership team and leaders of our Children's groups who have worked tirelessly and creatively, especially during this last year when Church life became very much online. 

Prayer

We pray that as we move forward, into the coming months,  that God will surround the Church family with love so that we may be ambassadors for Christ in our local community. Also for those in our Church family who are struggling with 'life' right now, for whatever reason,  that they will know the peace and healing only Jesus can give.

Pray that they may hear from the Lord, that the weather may be kind to them, that their fellowship may be a rich blessing and that the Lord will keep them well physically.

• 1^st birthday celebration on 29^th August
• For the welcome we have received from Marske Methodist Church, where we now meet
• For those involved in leading the church
• For the Baptist Insurance grant which has helped enormously with our starting up costs

Prayer requests

• For the 7,000 invitations going out in the next week or so, that there will be those who come to join us
• For the Alpha course starting on the 22^nd September
• For the continuing development of a website for the church
• For those in the fellowship suffering from cancer

Thanksgiving

We continue to thank and praise God for His guidance here at Great Asby and our relevance in the local  community. 

Also for the friendship, fellowship and caring of fellow believers  of all the denominations within the village.

Prayer

We continue  to pray for the protection  of Christians in Afghanistan in the current turmoil, that they may know the power of prayer uplifting them during the desperate weeks ahead.

For the mental and  physical  wellbeing  of a number of our fellowship  who are ill at the  moment .

Thanksgiving

The way God is using our church for "The Bread and Butter Thing" with the help from St Hilda's church.

The wonderful Ecumenical work that is taking place on the Headland.

Safe return back into our church after Covid

 

Prayer

That we will be a church full of disciples taking time to be still to listen to what God wants us to do personally and together as we move forward.

For our church to make a noise outside into the community.

As we start our mid-week groups and various clubs it will be a safe return for all.

And that we won't have lost any while we have had to close.
