It is not always easy filling preaching appointments Sunday by Sunday. We give thanks to God for all that are willing to help in this way and also that we are still able to hold both morning and evening services.
We thank God for the number of people that attended a Songs of Praise service, organised by the local churches together, in the village hall as part of Castleside's 150th Birthday Celebrations.
Please pray for our children's club on a Tuesday evening and also our "Castle-Siders" outreach, this is aimed at children and parents.
Please pray for those who carry out homes visits and school assemblies and also for those homes being visited.
Please pray for an increase in people attending Church services and also membership.
We are a family of Baptist Churches seeking to encourage and pray for one another. The Northern Baptist Association consists of 53 Baptist churches serving about 3,000 members from Marske to Kirkby Stephen and from Northallerton to Berwick. As well as blogs we also post regular prayer bulletins from our churches and Association life.

Thanks for what God did through the Kairos youth camp; a brilliant rebirth of a Harvest style festival - Kairos 14 here we come!
Thanks for how God keeps bringing Christian and other faith asylum seekers to our Friday DROP-IN and some into Sunday worship.
Pray for a greater sense of fellowship and pastoral care as we seek God's guidance during this period of pastoral transition.
Pray that God will rebuild our worship team and that there'll be an increase in our monthly giving, especially as we embark on some building alterations.
Ministers: Mr Pete Spence; Rev Jim Wright

NBA Prayers for 15th September - Durham Road BC, Gateshead
At Durham Road we have been blessed with a wonderful ministry from different speakers since our minister moved on - give thanks for those who lead our worship and also for the future that God has already prepared for us.
We are just embarking on some Youth Work with a view to helping local schools with assemblies and RE lessons, which in turn will help with Discovery Church which we hold once a month with the aim of contacting parents and children. Pray that both doors and hearts may open through these initiatives.
We are also starting regular Prayer Breakfasts. Pray that food and fellowship at the beginning of the day will lead to a daily life with Christ for those attending.
Harvest will be celebrated on 6th October followed by lunch and our annual Thankoffering. Pray for new and ripening fruit at Durham Road in the year ahead.
