NBA Prayers for 29th September - Rowley Baptist Church (near Consett)

It is not always easy filling preaching appointments Sunday by Sunday. We give thanks to God for all that are willing to help in this way and also that we are still able to hold both morning and evening services.

We thank God for the number of people that attended a Songs of Praise service, organised by the local churches together, in the village hall as part of Castleside's 150th Birthday Celebrations.

Please pray for our children's club on a Tuesday evening and also our "Castle-Siders" outreach, this is aimed at children and parents.

Please pray for those who carry out homes visits and school assemblies and also for those homes being visited.

Please pray for an increase in people attending Church services and also membership.

NBA Prayers for 15th September - Durham Road BC, Gateshead

At Durham Road we have been blessed with a wonderful ministry from different speakers since our minister moved on - give thanks for those who lead our worship and also for the future that God has already prepared for us.
We are just embarking on some Youth Work with a view to helping local schools with assemblies and RE lessons, which in turn will help with Discovery Church which we hold once a month with the aim of contacting parents and children. Pray that both doors and hearts may open through these initiatives.
We are also starting regular Prayer Breakfasts. Pray that food and fellowship at the beginning of the day will lead to a daily life with Christ for those attending.
Harvest will be celebrated on 6th October followed by lunch and our annual Thankoffering. Pray for new and ripening fruit at Durham Road in the year ahead.
