NBA Prayer Requests

We are asked to pray this week (beginning Sunday 23 January 2022) for Morpeth Baptist Church

Minister John Copper

Thanksgiving

We're thankful we are now meeting again in person, for those who feel confident enough.

Albeit sporadically at the moment.

We're thankful for the human contact.

We're thankful for all of the YouTube church services that have enlightened us, and the Zoom meetings afterwards, that have kept us together.

We're thankful for all of the hard work that the leading members of our church have put in over this long journey to where we are now.

We're thankful that Our Lord God has brought us through this difficult period, and will continue to be so, because we know he will.

We are thankful we have so many wonderful servants of God in our church

Prayer

Those in Morpeth BC who are serving on the frontline.

Our focus this year is on: Creating space to grow.

Please pray as we discern what God is calling us to and the courage to set down things which are ill fitting.

Within that emphasis on well-being as we learn to carry Jesus unforced rhythms of grace as individuals and as a church.

We would like to start a Renew Wellbeing Space but are struggling to find the right space.

Please pray that we will be patient, not be discouraged, and that God will show us the right building/ room.

Please pray for all God's churches in Morpeth, that together we can be salt and light in the town.

Thank you

John Cooper
